The Essential Candle Co. began as a concept created by myself and my partner in the months leading up to the arrival of our first baby, Kelsey.

As we prepared to bring a new life into our home, we became more mindful of the everyday products we were using especially candles and wax melts. We loved the atmosphere they created, but we couldn’t ignore what was hidden inside many commercially manufactured options. We wanted products made with intention, transparency and ingredients we felt confident welcoming into our space, before our daughter even arrived.

So, we started experimenting, carefully testing and refining each blend until we created candles and wax melts, we were proud to burn in our own home. That purpose is why we proudly call ourselves The Essential Candle Co.
